Rabbi Zac Schwartz

Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Rabbi Schwartz received a Bachelors in Commerce from the University of New South Wales. In Israel, he completed the Shalhevet Rabbinic Leadership Course and the Machon L’Madrichei Chutz La’Aretz Informal Education Training Program. Rabbi Schwartz received semicha from Yeshiva University and completed the joint RIETS/Ferkauf Certificate in Mental Health Counseling. 

Rabbi Schwartz has been heavily involved in both formal and informal Jewish education for the last decade. He taught on the Judaic Studies Faculty in Moriah College, Sydney, Australia, and worked as the Youth Director in Congregation Beth Abraham in Bergenfield, NJ. He served as Rabbinic Intern and Kollel Director at Lincoln Square Synagogue and most recently taught at HAFTR Middle School.

An avid guitarist, in his free time Zac can be found playing basketball, barbecuing and exploring the outdoors along with his wife and son
