Dr. Rachel Klipper
Dr. Rachel Klipper has a doctorate in school-community psychology from Hofstra University. She is committed to the social-emotional growth of students and their families. Prior to joining RPRY, Dr. Klipper completed internships at three different public schools and at one clinical agency, where she facilitated individual and group counseling sessions with children of all ages. She has helped students cope with stress, reduce anxiety, increase pro-social skills, and manage impulsive behaviors. She has also facilitated groups for parents on effective parenting techniques, and social skills and anxiety based groups for children in both school and clinical settings.
Dr. Klipper's experiences on Child Study Teams and completing psycho-educational evaluations gives her a deep understanding of learning differences and difficulties that can arise in a school setting. She collaborates with teachers, administration, parents and outside therapists to ensure that every student is able and ready to succeed.
