WELCOME... please come and explore the magical world of RPRY's Early Childhood Program...a place where academic, social, emotional, physical, cognitive, spiritual, and moral growth and development of our children takes center stage. At RPRY's Early Childhood Program, we strive to nurture our students' love of Hashem, of Torah, of Eretz Yisrael, of Yiddishkeit, of their fellow Jew. We hope to spark their curiosity, creativity, imagination; to develop their intrinsic motivation and desire to do mitzvot; to help them grow in menschlichkeit, caring, self-reliance, and responsibility.
We are all part of a "caring community of learners", to use the phrase coined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). "We" refers to all of us: the RPRY administration, our faculty, and parents – our children's first and most important teachers. Together, we will be able to guide and encourage their healthy growth and development on many levels: intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and morally. We urge our parents to become involved in their children's education; ask their teachers about the curriculum; volunteer to read to the class, or do an art project with them; come speak to the children about their profession, their hobbies, a recent trip to Israel. Please ask your children to share with you the songs they learned, the projects they made, the art they created, the friends they interacted with, the new accomplishments they mastered on the playground.
At RPRY, we partner with our families and are privileged to collaborate in opening up the world of learning, Mitzvot,Torah, and Eretz Yisrael to our precious young children.
